Here’s my simple yet powerful SEO checklist:
Site:
- Relevant Title Meta Tag with Phone Number if Applicable
- Researched Keywords Meta Tag
- Concise Description Meta Tag Sometimes with Phone Number
- Robots Follow Meta Tag (I know this may or may not work but it’s worth a shot!)
Page:
- Relevant Title Meta Tag with Phone Number if Applicable
- Researched Keywords Meta Tag
- Content with keywords throughout
- Images all have alt=””
- Images are all re-sized to their showing size and not altered with the width and height attributes. Width and height attributes are included attributes of all images (even though they are not re-sizing the image.)
- Image file name is relevant to what it is.
Post:
- All of the above +
- Relevant tags are selected
